The only good advice I can give you is that if you learn in a C152 you can fly any bigger aircraft in this catagory, they are more powerful and more stable to fly. If you change airplanes in the middle of your training you will feel the difference and you will probably have to spend extra money just getting used to the 172. Also I way 191′ and my instructor is around 180′ so in the previous comment saying the 152 only holds a max of 340 doesn’t add up. ps. The 152 is a great training plane. Quite often much of the cross-country time building is done on the 172 because it is faster and the students will bring passengers on their trips. Turning in pattern work almost made me think my CFi was holding onto his yoke as hard as he can to mess with me. I like and fly both, and I can tell you without any hesitation that a C172 has more elbow room (and head room and luggage room and instrument panel room and…) than a C152.
