Lindsay joined the team in 2013, having worked in the industry for 6 years already. She has extensive experience and her customers know her for her fun, direct approach which gets little ones swimming independently from a very young age.

Why did you join Mini Swimmers?
Elaine was a friend of mine and fellow swimming teacher, so when she asked me to join the team I jumped at the chance. She is a great boss!

What’s your favourite thing about teaching?
I love all aspects of teaching but especially when a child succeeds at swimming independently for the first time.

Do you remember learning to swim?
When I was taught to swim it wasn’t much fun and very strict. I’m glad things have changed and wish there had been classes like this when I was little!

What do you get up to when you’re not by the poolside?
I like meeting up with friends for food, and going to baby groups with my youngest, Frankie.

STA Level 2 Award in Aquatic Teaching – Baby and Pre-School (May 2007)
STA Level 2 Safety Award for Teachers (May 2015)
Over 100 hours training in both the classroom and pool, plus 10 years teaching experience!
